Mental Floss
It's the small, small problems that keep me so upset and send me seeking shelter beneath my mosquito net. I stay there for hours protected from the night. All those insects and vipers and other things that bite. In one ear and out the other don't you get criss-crossed. I recommend you try a little mental floss -- J. Buffett

New class
I started a new class - Transformational Leadership. Right now I am swamped in readings. I have the three discussion questions for next week so I pulled some journal articles for DQ1. The task is to identify one leadership trait that we believe all leaders must possess and support it with current literature. I am also formulating a plan for my first paper which is supposed to compare and contrast leadership theories from various historical eras. Doesn't this sound exciting?

"40"
Brian left this morning. He will be home in 40 days...4 days before his 40th Birthday! It is 10 days until our 14th Anniversary.
Love knows no limit to its endurance
no end to its trust,
Love still stands
when all else has fallen.

I have not had time to blog lately. Brian is home and we are busy with each other and family events. New Years was nice and quiet. We spent the evening eating bagnacalda (a traditional Italian fondue), playing cards, watching the U2 Live from Chicago DVD (with surround sound), and dancing to music ... at home...all by our little lonesome...it was nice!
