One class down. . .

Tonight was the last night of my first class, and we worked hard to put this one away. A HUGE paper was the final assignment. Thank God for my editor, Brian, or else I may have bombed this class! So, I get a week long break before the next round - yipee!

Brian turns 40!

Well, Brian came home for his "mid-term" break. We celebrated his 40th b-day. We went to JMK Nippon, a Japanese restaurant we love. Had sushi and bento boxes, which have a variety such as stir-fry, california rolls, fried fish, shrimp dumplings. So, good! We also went to our favorite local pub for a little dinner and dancing. The kids and Brian also played a lot of Nintendo, which was nice for them.

Brian got in 6 hours early! Freak of nature totally. The flight from Nevis left 30 minutes early. The pilots flew like bats out of hell to Puerto Rico, so he was there an hour earlier than anticipated! Lo and behold, a flight to Chicago just happened to be departing in 45 minutes. He inquired if there was a seat - and YES! No extra fees either. So, I was surprised beyond belief when I received a call on my cell at 2:50 p.m. to please come pick him up at the bus station! 6 hours early!

In the meantime, Brian has lost about 20 pounds and he looks great! We went shopping and bought him a few new shirts, which look real nice. We visited with his parents for a few hours as well. Michaila made a birthday cake and we laughed about the age thing. Haha 40! Sorry no pics, no camera right now. I need to teach my mother-in-law how to upload!

Anyway, he left Tuesday the 21st bright and early. I didn't get to bed until 4am! Yikes it made for a loopy day. So, that is the big news here. I finish my class on Monday and have a HUGE 5200 word paper due as well as a team paper. You don't even want to know the topic - trust me. Bye for now!

Brain Ache

In the past two weeks I have written two papers, six discussion questions, and God only knows how many responses to other student's DQs. The synapses in my brain are firing so much I think I can feel it!
