Katrina

The devastation of Katrina is overwhelming. We have traveled so many miles and worried for a long time, and yet a hurricane of this magnitude has hit families all over the Gulf Coast and spared us as we lived in the Caribbean. Some of those terribly affected are families of our friends. We pray that they are okay and that they may return to their homes soon.

And yet, more tropical disturbances loom in the Atlantic as I write this. I will keep tracking these storms, as it has become an almost second nature for me. And I hope that all those I love and have come to love are safe. Brian leaves Monday.
