Homecoming

It's homecoming at Harlem. Yesterday was dress as your favorite hero or villain day. This is one of my former students as "Caesar, Caesar." He has come a long, long way since the day he first stepped into my classroom, and despite his appearance (ha ha) I am proud of him. He has gone from being a neglected and attention-seeking child (who at one time bit me due to a weird series of events!) to a kind and generous young adult. He graduates in December! I hope he decides to go to college because he is one of those kids whose mind is full of curiosity and intellect.
