Phoenix, here I come

Well, I am packed, and my bag is in the car. I managed to get 8 days worth of clothes in my carry-on, and my computer bag is stuffed to capacity.

We woke up this morning to white stuff falling out of the sky and the roads were pretty trecherous. Of course the road crews were nowhere to be found either. I decided to drive through Rockford rather than risk the backroads I usually take after a little ice-skating incident in my car.

Assuming my plane is on time, I will arrive in Phoenix around 10 p.m. Forecast: Sunny and upper 60's/lower 70's although I am sure I will be so busy that I won't see the light of day. Northern Illinois forecast: Cold, highs of 25. See everyone in 8 days.
